Product Description
The QBC Autoread Plus haematology analyser provides a diagnostic haematology profile without the need for liquid reagents. The patented technology eliminates the need for maintenance or cleaning and it is easy to use, making it ideal for Point Of Care Diagnostics.
The analyser is permanently calibrated during manufacture and a simple calibration check is run daily to verify satisfactory performance prior to testing patient samples. Liquid quality control material is available if additional performance monitoring is desired.
The QBC Autoread Plus haematology system can change the way you collect and analyse samples; the difference lies in the QBC tubes. The QBC tubes are internally coated with all the necessary reagents including acridine orange fluorochrome stain and antigoagulants (with the exception of the QBC venous tubes). The system is flexible enough to use venous or capillary blood samples. A precision float is inserted into each tube to expand the Buffy Coat (white blood cells and platelets). After the sample is collected in the QBC tube, it is centrifuged in the external centrifuge at 11,000-12,000 RPM for 5 minutes. This separates blood cells into bands based on density allowing for the measurement of the haematology parameters taking just 2 minutes.
QBC Autoread Plus Features:
- Optical Signature Analysis (OSA) automatically scans the QBC Tube 8 times, eliminating subjective interpretation
- Totally dry procedure needs no user maintenance: no pumps or tubes to clean, no circulating blood, and no user calibration
- Plug in software cartridges
- Ability to centrifuge 20 tubes at a time
Benefits of the QBC Autoread Plus:
- Accuracy and readability gives you the right answer straight away, enhancing your diagnosis.
